"Hassan Abujihaad, 31, of Phoenix, is accused in a case that began in Connecticut and followed a suspected terrorist network across the country and into Europe and the Middle East.
He was arrested in Phoenix on charges of supporting terrorism with an intent to kill U.S. citizens and transmitting classified information to unauthorized people.
Abujihaad, who is also known as Paul R. Hall, is charged in the same case as Babar Ahmad, a British computer specialist arrested in 2004 and accused of running Web sites to raise money for terrorism. Ahmad is scheduled to be extradited to the U.S. to face trial.
During a search of Ahmad's computers, investigators discovered files containing classified information about the positions of U.S. Navy ships and discussing their susceptibility to attack." (source)
What shocked me more than a Muslim passing on classified information that could hurt America and kill American military personnel, was that the article (and all the other articles I saw) used his Muslim name first in the article. Normally they would say "Paul Hall" and as an aside way down at the bottom mention that he had converted and changed his name... Then I noticed that all the MSM outlets were using the same AP story that was written by Matt Apuzzo (who, by all I've read, is the one good AP writer out there...)
Back in July of 2005:
"Fire Control Technician 3rd Class Ariel J. Weinmann, 21, of Salem, Ore., allegedly deserted his submarine, the USS Albuquerque, in July 2005 and took electronic copies of information classified "confidential" and "secret." According to military charge sheets, Weinmann tried to pass information to foreign government officials in three countries, once while on active duty." (source)
Will this finally warrant a charge of 'treason'...or is that off the books for good? Reading a few of these stories (about terrorists infiltrating our military) made me wonder how many are possibly out there... sleeping in bunks next to guys they are secretly fighting against...
